“reflect” and Under the Blue Tent

Monday, May 30th, 2005

Friends!
Most splendid news; “reflect” will be featuring in another exhibition at Kudos gallery from Tuesday 31st May till around Saturday. Here is information about exhibition:

Hopefully the artwork will look as good as before, though it was made for the ol’ gallery, so it might be harder to get it as smick. Here’s hoping it will totally rock sox.

It is your sworn duty to visit eithr the artwork or the webpage :) You have the chance to get at least one perspective on the exhibition. If you are not in the country then the website is the perfect way to check out the Aussie art scene ;)

Will be up for the opening, which will be Tuesday 6-8pm… That’s 9am-11am UK time, 8am-10am GMT.

Artwork can be accessed here:

(at the moment the IP is http://203.26.8.148/ which hopefully will remain the same throughout ;) )

But will probably only be up Tuesday morning onwards. Try!
Edit: It is up now :)
Edit: The exhibition is now over - the artwork’s web presence is no longer available.

“Random”

Thursday, May 26th, 2005

What shits me (a phrase taken from my wonderful housemate Hayden), is that people use the word “random” when they mean “indiscriminate”. This may be me becoming a grumpy old man…

30th April:

Wooh - and a definitive and resounding Yay - would have broken the fragile morning stillness had someone asked me how the party went.

I love costume parties; I myself went as a fluffy doggy-dog with tail, ears, and little doggy paws.

After a few hours we headed to Club 77, which turned out to be the perfect place for a bunch of costumed, cooky cats cruising for dance action.

Everyone who is anyone fantastic was there, excepting those who weren’t. The theme of the night was Tails & Scales - Brilliant! And here is my chance to exercise my memory of names. In no particular order:

Art, Gender, Sexuality and the Body #2

Well, have the outline finished for this courses one and only essay. Though I have a feeling that after a little more reading and research the spirit and direction of my essay will change somewhat.

I am quite aware that many of the concepts in this outline aren’t explained, and that it’s written a little flippantly. It is just an outline however, so I hopefully this is adequate to show how I’m thinking.

You are by no means compelled to read the (adobe pdf) Outline, though if you do you must comment! :)
