Carrie & Vostok
2 years, 6 months agoI have an idea. The system works like this:
“A man has an idea. The idea attracts others, like-minded. The idea expands…”
I like my idea - I think it’s rad. I want it to expand.
Basically, imagine an two protagonists whose day-to-day lives are represented by many many different people, in many-many different ways. In the same way as some stories and protagonists are used as building blocks for creative endevours, a loose central narrative will be woven by the threads of each contributor. Interested? Check out http://www.neonascent.net/CarrieVostok for a bit more info.
At the moment I’m looking for interested and helpful friends to help build up a little collection of example material, that can go on the site and give the masses something to chew on. Please contact me if you want to help!

So then let’s do it. You wanted a timeline of events or something didn’t you to start it off? Let me know when you want to do it and I’ll help (this weekend?). And certainly I’ll make something that will pass as example content- perhaps even real content. Yellow and red remind me of take-away food though, did you have a reason for choosing those colours?

Not sure why those specific colours… I see what you mean about fast food: Very McDonalds. I think the reason was colour psychology. Remember how you didn’t like the name Carrie? Well Yellow is something of a neurotic nauseous colour. Vostok is red because he’s got a dirty dirty commie name.
I guess at the onset if we wanted Carrie to be lovely and exotic we could make her colour a gorgeous Aquamarine.

I don’t mind the name Carrie now. Lovely and exotic would be nice, but I do suppose that neurotic and nauseous would be more interesting to watch…
