Warming the hizzouse: Nyssa, Lisa, Penny
3 years, 2 months ago30th April:
Wooh - and a definitive and resounding Yay - would have broken the fragile morning stillness had someone asked me how the party went.
I love costume parties; I myself went as a fluffy doggy-dog with tail, ears, and little doggy paws.
After a few hours we headed to Club 77, which turned out to be the perfect place for a bunch of costumed, cooky cats cruising for dance action.
Everyone who is anyone fantastic was there, excepting those who weren’t. The theme of the night was Tails & Scales - Brilliant! And here is my chance to exercise my memory of names. In no particular order:
- Finn (whose name I now remember…) - Mr. IT guy who indulges me in wonderful nostalgic geeky conversations and is otherwise very nice.
- Jennifer (also whose name has been indelibly written into the back of my brain after being reprimanded too many times for forgetting) - goes out with Finn and is generally foxy and good-natured.
- Our Three Hostesses with the mostesses:
- Penny - Dressed in tails. Wooh hot. Turned some heads
- Nyssa - Dressed as a mermaid. Wonderful costume.
- Lisa - A bunny girl…
I did actually manage to get a picture of this one on my cameraphone… just waiting to get a data cable then it will be up. You will all be happy.
- Penny - Dressed in tails. Wooh hot. Turned some heads
- Maja - Our official photographer for the evening
- Jarrad - Certainly made a stand-up fishmonger. And gave me a Christmas present! Even better, much appreciated, and forever onwards will be worn with pride.
- Dave - keeping it real as always.
- Verity - managed to keep me out of trouble for the night
- Amity - stars as Pippy Longstocking! Freckles definitely get the thumbs up.
- Jess - a stunning Little Red Ridinghood, unfortunetly had to leave early due to living hours away.
- Alex - Could only make a brief appearance, but brought pizza and joy into the house for the duration.
- Anna - representing. No costume, but general Anna smile.
- Damien - Two-piece Snakeskin suit… very rock ‘n’ roll.
- Catherine - Generally ready to talk about the Medieval to anyone!
- Cameron - One more who chose tails, although not quite as hot in them as Penny.
- Fuzz - came packing his famous sideburns. Always a welcome addition to any party.
- Those who shall remain nameless but whome I love anyway
